Summary

As urban populations grow, cities face increasing challenges in managing transportation networks efficiently. Intelligent Transportation Systems leverage cuttingedge technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data analytics, and connected infrastructure to optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance safety. This talk explores how smart cities integrate ITS to create sustainable, adaptive, and user-centric mobility solutions. The focus will be road and air transportations with topics including the techno-economic assessment of wireless charging systems for airport shuttle buses and eVTOL operation in urban area.
